The gallery’s beginnings date back to 1996, to a small downtown Madrid basement space on Claudio Coello Street where a series of shows took place. At the time, the artist shown were well-established and of acknowledged prestige although not necessarily recognized as such by a wider public, and their works were chosen with much scrutiny with the solid intention of highlighting a special period of production of works on paper during the span of their artistic careers.
Since the opening in 2004, the new gallery space on #18 Orellana Street, Madrid has programmed shows along two lines of thought, giving special importance to emerging artist, somewhat savage and full color, and on the other hand are the sculptures, paintings, and photography by various more eclectic artists.
