The main purpose of her work is to reflect the human figure as a conceptual form, with a strong emphasis of irony and symbolisms; this way she transmits the emptiness of man in her “character-armor” and “character-clothes”, projecting only the exterior or shell; in contrasts with the intern emptiness, the no being but the might be.
Her work shouts the absence of soul and identity in the human being, only reflecting our shell. It is a great metaphor to the life emptiness of the human nowadays.
The materials used are the porcelain gres, iron, oxides, enamel, and ceramic paper. This last one, is a new technique learned that combines the clay in the form of gres and paper, resulting in lighter and flexible works.
