Gabriel Brau


Born in Cardedeu (Barcelona-Spain) in 1957.

He started in the world of photography in 1976 and became dedicated professionally to the profession since 1989, combining publicity studio work documentary and travel reports.

Member of the following institutions:

- Unió de Professionals de la Imatge i Fotografia de Catalunya (UPIFC).
- Catalonia Photography Federation (FCF).
- Spanish Photography Confederation (CEF).
- Fedération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP).
- Catalonia's Photographic Association (AFC).
- Photographic Association of Montcada i Reixac (AFOTMIR).

He has given numerous courses, workshops, and conferences about different aspects and techniques of photography, both analogical and digital.

He is author of the work "El Tratamiento en blanco y negro del Archivo Digital"( Black and White Processing of Digital Files).

His work was selected in 1996 by the Department of Culture of the Autonomous Government of Catalonia to participate in the 8th Primavera Fotográfica.
