Statement

I am an Australian artist living in Melbourne who works with wood engraving, painting, etching, lithography, lino and bronze.
A narrative runs through my work portraying the story of the lonely rural misfit dreaming of  being somewhere else and being someone more interesting.  Dreaming of love and home and dreaming of burning it all down and escaping.  He’s Mr Vertigo, wanting fame and success, (to be popular really), wanting to fly but afraid of heights.

My work is accessible, sometimes melancholic and sometimes humourous.
