Carlos Maneiro

Carlos Maneiro Born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1975, Carlos Maneiro studied at the Essy Art Academy in Caracas starting when he was only 8 years of age, and the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In the U.S., where he lived for over 14 years becoming an American citizen and where he also acquired plenty of media coverage and awards.

In the United States Maneiro counts with the representation of Agora Gallery in New York, NY and Elite Art in Miami, FL., thus making him part of many private collections in the Americas and Europe. Through his travels in many European cities and particularly Moscow and Berlin, Maneiro has found a heavy influence by the abstract and modern art in general found in these cities. Maneiro now lives in Berlin.

After 17 years of painting and drawing Maneiro would cite the works of Vassiliev Kandinsky, Jackson Pollok, Marcel Duchamp, Max Ernst, Giorgio de Chirico, Francis Picabia and Salvador Dalí as some of the stylistic contributors of his expressionistic voice.
